Genesis Cinema Maryland is part of the Genesis Group of multiplex cinemas in Nigeria.
The Genesis Cinemas Brand and company was launched into the Nigerian market in the year 2008, in Lagos. Genesis Cinemas now have 9 cinemas across the Country with 35 screens and over 5000 seats. Other Genesis Cinemas are located in Lekki and Ajah in Lagos, Warri, Owerri, Abuja, PortHarcourt and Asaba.
Genesis Cinemas is known for it innovation and in February 2011 it became the first cinema in West Africa to show a 3D movie (Green Hornet) .
Genesis cinemas Maryland also offers cinema with popcorn and drink and a variety of appetizers, classic meals, and delectable desserts.
