Romina was sited at the dining table eating with Mr. Zaragoza when the door opened and Neil walked in, he walked straight towards them and Romina rolled her eyes at the sight of him.
“Good morning dad…, sister,” he greeted pronouncing the sister sarcastically. “Morning son, join us for breakfast,” Mr. Zaragoza gestured at the table filled with different varieties of food.
“No thanks,” he said and pulled a chair for himself to sit. “What’s up sis, you look different, ” he stated.
“How different?” She asked not sparing him a glance. “Happy,” he replied picking an apple from the fruit basket.
“Are you saying I once looked sad?” Romina asked. “Yes, but I understand. You thought dad was dead and your mom is missing I feel your pain,” he stated and took a bite from the apple.
“My pain? I am not in pain Neil but I can’t say the same for you,” she replied. “I am not in pain either,” he replied.
“Are you sure? Having to pretend to be someone you are not, that is enough pain,” she stated and click her tongue. “I pity you Neil ’cause you are going to feel something worse when I finally unlock all your secrets but in the meantime have fun,” she said and sipped from the juice in front of her.
“Why are you always nervous Romina? I am not after you, I just want to get what is mine but if you don’t want to give it up then I will have to take it forcefully,” he said and wink at her.
“You have nothing here, you are a b@stard!” She snapped. “You think so? Dad is here now, let him clear our doubt,” he said and turn to Mr. Zaragoza who ate quietly.
“You wrote a Will four years ago before your tragic accident, you willed everything to one of us. Do you remember where you kept it?” Neil asked.
“I don’t remember anything about a Will,” Mr. Zaragoza replied and rubbed his head gently. “Try to remember dad,” Neil compelled him.
“What are you doing Neil? He just returned for Pete’s sake, don’t stress him and why will you bring that up by this time of the day?” Romina questioned.
“I just want us to clear the air,” he replied. “Besides I have nothing to lose but judging from your expression, you have a lot to lose,” he stated and she tightened her fist.
“Don’t pick a f!ght with your sister, Neil. She is right we should forget about the Will for the meantime, if I can’t recall anything I will just write another one,” he said and Neil smirked in victory.
‘Is this why you brought in an imposter? To write another Will? Well, that ain’t going to happen,’ Romina thought.
“It won’t be that easy, dad,” Romina uttered ruining their mood. “Why?” Mr. Zaragoza inquired.
“The missing Will contains important pieces of information about our family and the company, it isn’t just something you can rewrite,” Romina stated.
“Why do you speak as if you have seen the Will?” Neil asked trying to hide the nervousness in his voice but Romina detected it immediately.
“I might have had a glanced off it,” she replied cutting the steak on her plate. “If dad is going to write exactly what he wrote four years ago then he can write a new Will,” she said eating her steak, she could feel the tension in the air and that made her smile inwardly.
‘I am going to beat you in your own game, I will make you quit first,’ she thought.
“You don’t expect us to believe you, dad is going to talk to his lawyer, right?” Neil asked. “Yes, I will speak to my lawyer,” he replied.
“You should and I guess he has a copy of your missing Will. Instead of going through the trouble of writing another one, you can just answer a few questions and he will give us a copy of your original Will,” she said.
“We don’t need that Will anymore,” Neil retorted. “Why are you hell-bent on him writing another one? Are you afraid he wrote something against you?” Romina asked dropping her cutleries on the empty plate.
“No, there is nothing to write against me,” he replied. “I want to write a new Will to Romina for the benefit of us all,” Mr. Zaragoza said, and Neil smirked.
“We should invite the lawyer as soon as possible then,” she said and Neil gulped down nervously, he knew Romina was up to something but he could not tell what it was.
“We should try to hang out without a fight,” Mr. Zaragoza suggested. “I don’t have a problem with that but I can’t say the same for my sister,” Neil said with his gaze on Romina.
“I have to get to the company, dad will resume soon,” she said instead and got up. “Should we go on a father and son trip before I start working? We could go fishing,” Mr. Zaragoza suggested to Neil.
“When did you guys become buddies?” Romina asked turning to face them. “If my memories are right, you had no time to spare for Neil ’cause you discovered something about him,” Romina blurted and Neil’s expression changed.
‘That was why I had to end him,’ Neil thought. “I guess I learned to accept him,” Mr. Zaragoza replied.
“I guess, what about fishing? You hated going to the sea or stream, you don’t even know how to swim ’cause you have a phobia for water,” she reminded and Neil’s heart skipped a beat.
He glared at Mr. Zaragoza but was quick to replace it with a smile, Romina smirked and continued when they had no excuse. “I would have loved to listen to your explanation but I have to head to work.”
She pecked Mr. Zaragoza and said. “Bye, daddy.”
Niel h!t the table as soon as Romina left, and Mr. Zaragoza shifted back in fear. “Why can’t you keep your mouth shut?! I have everything under control but you just had to ruin it with that big mouth of yours!” Neil growled.
“I….am sorry, I just wanted to act like the real Zaragoza,” he said. “Well, you just gave Romina more chance to suspect us!” He snapped and got up.
“If she has seen the Will just like she claimed then I am doomed, I need to meet that lawyer,” he concluded.
“Can I help?” Mr. Zaragoza asked. “Yes, by controlling that tongue of yours,” he replied and walk away.
Zoey who was watching from upstairs saved everything she recorded and went into Mrs. Zaragoza’s room.

Iris froze for a moment, she was sure she heard his voice and felt a presence beside her but she was too nervous to confirm what she heard and felt.
Why she is nervous was unknown to her. “Iris,” Elias called and stood in front of her, her eyes were filled with tears.
“Babe,” He called pulling her closer, she just stared at him with mixed emotions. “I’m sorry,” he apologized, and with that, he hugged her.
“What happened? Where have you been?” Iris questioned if they were now sited on the stairs in the hospital.
“That is a story for another day but I want you to know that I never abandoned you, I never meant to break your heart,” he said and she smiled.
“I never held a grudge against you, I know you love me,” she said and hugged him, he was happy that she was still the same.
“I missed you,” Iris said and he sniffed back his tears because for some strange reason he never missed her.
“You won’t leave anymore, right? You won’t ever leave me?” She asked fighting back her tears. “I won’t,” he assured.
“The twins,” he said breaking the hug and her eyes widened, what if they told him how h®rrible she was towards them?
He won’t be mad, will he? It isn’t her fault, they are to be blamed as well.
“What about them?” She asked with an awkward smile. “They must have been a burden to you, I want to apologize and thank you on their behalf,” he said and she breathed in relief.
“It’s fine, they are my siblings too,” she replied and he held her hand. “I love you, Iris,” he confessed.
“I love you too,” she replied and peck his lips. “We should go and see the twins,” she suggested and he nodded in agreement.
Romina who was standing in a safe area watched them until they got into the ward.
“Give this to the man in that ward,” Romina gave a nurse a piece of paper and pointed at Diana’s ward.
“Okay,” she replied and walked away, Romina waited patiently for him to come out. It took him a while to meet her, he had a serious expression on as he approached her.
“What do you want?” He asked. “I want you to treat my mom,” she replied.
“Who is Elias talking to?” Iris who followed him out of the ward wondered.
