Neil’s eyes almost fell out of his socket as he watched Romina walk towards him, his mouth was salivating and they felt too heavy to swallow.
He rubbed his eyes absentmindedly as Romina’s heel echoed in his ear.
The first question that struck his ear was, why was she there? Is she Miss R? How could he be a fool and not realize R means Romina?
How did she get the money to buy the shares? Everything is happening so fast and it feels like he needs to go back to bed, whatever it is that is happening can not be reality.
“Neil,” Romina called as she snapped her finger in his face, he jolt out of his thought.
“Close your mouth little bro, it makes you look like a toddler deprive of brea$tmilk,” Romina said and the board members laughed
“And you are on my seat,” she said with her index finger pointing at the chair he was sitting on, it was the chair designated for the CEO.
“This?” He asked and Zoey smiled. “Yes, Mr. Young the chair is for the CEO and you are not an employee of this noble company let alone the CEO,” Zoey replied and he felt like cvtting her tongue.
How dare she speak to hon rudely? He tightened his fist and slowly bowed his head, he was about to stand up when a question struck his mind.
“How can we be sure you are Miss. R? You can be lying for all we know,” he smirked and Romina motioned at Zoey.
Zoey nodded and walked towards Nina who was trying to close her mouth as she was taken aback too.
“If you don’t mind,” Zoey gestured at the laptop and Nina smiled. “I don’t,” she replied with a proud smile and stepped away from the laptop.
Zoey projected their chat and the transaction, Neil was finally able to gulp down the saliva in his mouth.
“Need more evidence?” Romina asked with a mocking smile and Neil stood up reluctantly.
“Exactly what I thought,” she smiled and sat on the chair. “This is not over, I am coming back for you,” he threatened and turned towards the door.
“Wait,” Romina ordered and he stooped. “Just like you said, it isn’t over. Why are you walking away when it is just the beginning?” She asked and he raised his eyebrows in confusion.
“Before buying this company I did some homework, I noticed you have financial problems,” Romina started and Neil felt internal heat.
If Romina knew about that she has a shred of evidence.
“Zoey,” Romina called and she projected some files, there were two. One was original while the other was fabricated, the amount on it was different.
The board members began to murmur while Neil felt cold, he wished the AC would stop working.
“Who do you expect to clean the mess you made?” Romina asked on her feet, Nina pulled the chair back slightly and she walked towards Neil.
“You need to pay back the money you stole,” Romina said and he gritted his teeth, it isn’t a problem he has thrice of what he stole.
He brought out his phone from his pocket and glared at Romina, he wished he could beh..e.ad her.
Neil divert his gaze to his phone and he received another shock, the shock was enough to give him a heart attack, his account was empty.
It was wiped clean, there was no penny in it. “We are waiting,” Romina reminded aware of what was happening.
“I…. I,” Neil stuttered water was formed in his eyes and a blink was all it needed for him to shed tears.
Is he going to cry in front of his enemy? There is no way Romina will have the last laugh, he isn’t going to let that happen.
“While you are trying to pay your debt, you are a wanted criminal,” Romina said and six police walked in.
“You are the prime suspect in the murder of Mr. Jerry,” Romina blurted and before he could defend himself the video was played.
“You are under arrest for the murder of Mr. Jerry, Mr. Young you have the right to remain silent, anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law, and you have the right to a lawyer if you don’t have one it will be provided for you by the government,”
With that being said he was cuffed and taken out of the boardroom, Romina sighed in relief immediately after he was gone.
She turned to face the board member and they clapped for her, she smiled and bowed respectfully
“Thank you,” she appreciated. The meeting was dismissed and everyone was out except Zoey and Nina.
“We did it,” Romina smiled and they hugged. “I am proud of you,” Zoey said.
“I am here,” Nina reminded and Romina let go of Zoey to hug her. “I missed you.”
“I missed you too,” she replied.
“You were on fire girl, for a moment I couldn’t believe it was you,” Nina said as she hugged Romina tighter.
“I know, right? I am happy Neil is out of our lives,” Romina said and they let go of each other
“One more thing to do,” Zoey said and they turned to her. “We have to make sure, he stays behind bars,” she reminded.
“I will make sure of that, there is no way I am letting him hurt my family again,” Romina uttered meaning every word she said.
“Hey,” Steve said standing by the door. “Steve!” Romina yelled and rushed to hug him.
He was happy she was smiling again, he wrapped his arms around her as he inhaled her scent
“I am happy for you,” he said hugging her tighter. “Thanks,” she appreciated.
“Miss. CEO,” he called as they disengaged from the hug and she twirled with a smile.

It was all over the news and the reporters took pictures of Neil being walked into the police station.
“Iris! Iris! Come and see this!” Nora yell as she fixed her gaze on the TV, Iris walked out of her room reluctantly.
Neil promised to take her out once he is done handling the company, but it has been an hour and he was not there.
“What is….” Words were stuck in her throat as she watched the news. “Neil was arrested?” She asked the obvious.
“He klled someone Iris,” Nora muttered in fear. “That is not true, he isn’t capable of doing that,” Iris uttered in denial
“But it is all over the news, there is evidence too,” Nora said but Iris shook her head repeatedly.
“Iris!” Nora called as she followed her into her room, Iris picked up her phone and bag.
“Where are you going?” Nora inquired as she walked past her. “To the police station,” Iris replied searching for her car keys.
“Police station? Why? Why do you need to go there? Are you back together with that criminal? When will you learn your lesson? Hasn’t he done enough?” Nora bombarded her with questions.
“You don’t understand mom, I can’t have my revenge on Elias and Romina without Neil, I will be back before you know it,” she found her key and rushed out of the house
Nora followed, she held the car door as Iris got in. “What if you are named an accomplice?” Nora asked worriedly.
“I will be fine,” she replied and closed the door, Nora sighed worriedly as she watched her drive roughly.
“Please protect my child,” Nora prayed.
Iris was allowed to speak to Neil for thirty minutes, Neil explained everything to her in a hurry.
“I need you to contact my sister,” he gave her Nicole’s number. “Tell her to get my lawyer and get me out of here.”
“Is your sister in the states?” Iris asked, though they dated she has never met Nicole.
“Yes, she came back, I need to teach Romina a lesson and I can’t do that in here,” he said.
“I will do all I can to help you, we will make her regret her actions,” Iris assured.
“Your time is up ma’am,” an officer informed

Nicole had a satisfying smile on her lips as she watched the news with Elias and the twins.
‘The end has finally come for you brother, I hope you learn your lesson,’ Nicole thought.
‘Romina is finally free, I hope this is the end of all our problems,’ Elias thought.
“When is aunt Romina coming home?” Draco asked with a pout, he missed her.
“Should I call her?” Elias asked. “Yes,” the twins answered in unison
Elias dialed her number and she picked it up immediately.
“Waiting for my call?” Elias asked with a smile. “Maybe, do you miss me?” She asked.
“Yes, a lot,” he replied. “I won’t come home early tonight I have to meet mom,” she replied.
“Should I come to pick you up?” He asked. “Huh?” She mumbled.
The next thing he heard was a loud shriek, “Ahhhh!”
“Romina?” He called in fear but got no response.
