  7. Lard, other pig fat, poultry fat, rendered or solvent extracted.
  8. Fats of bovine cattle, sheep or goats, unrendered; rendered or solvent extracted fats (including “premier jus”) obtained from those unrendered fats, tallow.
  9. Lard stearin, oleo stearin and tallow stearin, lard oil, oleo oil, tallow oil not emulsified or mixed or prepared in any way.
  10. Other animal oils and fats (including neat’s- foot oil and fats from bones or waste).
  11. Sausages and the like, of meat, meat offal or animal blood.
  12. Plants including any species of plant or anypart thereof whether living or dead including  the stem, branch, tuber, bulb, corm rhizome, stock, budwood, cutting, layer, slip, sucker, root, leaf, flower, fruit, seed or any other part or product whatsoever of a plant whether severed or attached excluding any plant intended for consumption or manufacturing purpose or any processed plant.
  13. Any plant intended for consumption or manufacturing purpose or processed plant by air from the American Tropics
  14. Coconut (whole or dehusked), oilpalm (fruit bunch)
  15. Plant products including peas, beans, cashew nuts, groundnut, maize, rice, sesame, wheat, spices, tapioca, sorghum and gunny sacks which are likely carriers of khapra beetle.
  16. Meat extracts and meat juices.
  17. Soil including earth, ground or other natural occuring organic and mineral material in which plants may be grown.
  18. Rooting compost or growing media such as peatmoss, sphagnum moss.
  19. Fertilizers of animal origin only.
  20. Bullet-proof vests, steel helmets and other articles of clothing intended as protection against attack.
  21. All household and agriculture pesticides including weedicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides, bactericides, molluscides and veterinary pesticides under the First Schedule (section 2) of the Pesticides Act 1974.
  22. Imitation arms including toy guns and toy pistols.
  23. Imitation hand grenades.
  24. Coral alive or dead except those which have been processed and used as jewellery.
  25. Poultry (fowls, chicks, ducks, geese, turkeys, guinea fowls and pigeons) alive or dead or any part thereof.
  26. Acetyl bromide.
  27. All multicolor copying machines, and color toner cartridge (any color other than black) for photo copying machines.

27. Airmail Photographic Printing Paper.

28. All counterfeit/pirated materials or articles including Base or Counterfeit Coin of any Country.

29. Beads composed of inflammable celluloid orother similar substances.

30. Blank invoices.

31. Coupons for Foreign Football pools or other betting arrangements.

32. Cowries.

33. Exhausted tea or tea mixed with other substances. For the purposes of this item, “exhausted tea” means any tea which has been denied of its original quality, strength, or virtue by soaking, mixture, decoction or other methods.

34. Implements appertaining to the reloading of cartridges.

35. Indecent or obscene prints, painting, books, cards,engraving or any indecent or obscene articles.

36. Manilas.

37. Matches made with white phosphorous.

38. Materials of any description with a design which,considering the reason for which any such material is proposed to be utilized, is likely in the assessment of the president to make a breach of the harmony or to irritate the religious perspectives on any class of people in Nigeria.

39. Meat, Vegetables or other provisions declared by a health officer to be unfit for human consumption.

40. Piece goods and all other textiles including wearing apparel, hardware of all kinds’ crockery and china or earthenware goods bearing engravings (whether in Roman or Arabic characters) from the Koran or from the customs and discourses on the Koran.

41. Pistols disguised in any form.

42. Second-hand clothing.

43. Silver or metal alloy coins not being legal tender in Nigeria.

44. Nuclear Industrial waste and other Toxic waste

45. Spirits, Other than – Alcoholic bitters, liqueurs, cordials and blends conceded all things considered by the Comptroller-General and which are not esteemed to be harmful spirits inside the significance of any establishment or law identifying with alcohol or alcohol permitting.

Brandy; Spirit Distilled in Grape-growing countries from fermented grape juice and from no other materials and Stored in wood for a period of three years;

Drugs and medicinal spirits; admitted as such in the discretion of the Comptroller-General.

Gin: Spirit-Produced by distillation from a blended crush of oat grains just saccharified by the diastase of malt and the Flavored by re-distillation with juniper berries and other vegetable fixings and of a brand which has been told as an endorsed brand by notice in the Gazette and in compartments named with the name and address of the proprietor of the brand; or produced by refining in any event multiple times in a pot-still from blended squash or grain, rye and maize saccharified by diastase of malt – and after that amended by re-refining in a pot still after the expansion of juniper berries and other vegetable materials.

Methylated or denatured spirit; Mineralized Methylated spirit mixed as follows:

  • To each ninety sections by volume of spirits nine and one-half parts by volume of wood naphtha and one-half of one section by volume of rough pyridine and to each 455 litres of the blend 1.7 litres of mineral naphtha or oil and at least 0.7 grams by weight of powdered aniline colour (Methylviolet) thus in extent for any quantity less than 455 litres.

Industrial Methylated soul imported under permit from the Comptroller-General and blended as follows:

  • To each ninety-five sections by volume of spirits five sections by volume of wood naphtha and furthermore one-half of one section by volume of the blend; and Spirits denatured for a specific reason in such way as the Comptroller-General in any extraordinary condition may allow;

Perfumed Spirits

  • Rum for example a Spirit – Distilled direct from sugar-stick items in sugar-stick developing nations; and Stored in wood for a time of three years. Spirits imported for therapeutic or logical purposes, subject to such conditions as the Comptroller-General may endorse; Spirits thoroughly unfit for use as convenient spirits admitted to section all things considered in the tact by the Comptroller-General; and
  • Whisky, for example a Spirit-Obtained by refining from a crush or oat grains saccharified by diastase of malt; and Stored in wood for a time of three years. Containing more than forty-eight and one-half per centum of unadulterated liquor by volume with the exception of denatured, cured and perfumed spirits, and such different spirits which the Comptroller-General, in his carefulness, may permit to be imported subject to such conditions as he may decide to Impose.

Weapons of any depiction which in the assessment of the Comptroller-General are intended for the release of any poisonous fluid, gas or other comparable substance and any ammo containing or in the assessment of the Comptroller-General or adjusted to contain any harmful fluid, gas or other comparative substances..
